Our story
Baby Blu Designs was born in 2020 out of a dream to merge heritage with modern style. Founded by Jingga Asmara at 18, the brand is known for hand-beaded embroidery and bold, playful prints. Each piece designed to make women feel confident and unique.
The roots of Baby Blu trace back to the 1990s, when Jingga’s father, Mauro Tacconelli, collaborated with Balinese artisans to create intricately embroidered swimwear that gained recognition from global brands. His dedication to detail and craftsmanship became part of the creative environment Jingga grew up in, quietly shaping her vision.
After completing her studies at Istituto Marangoni, Jingga returned home inspired to build on that foundation. By combining artisanal handwork with fresh, modern design, Baby Blu came to life. A brand that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and the empowerment of women through fashion.
